How to get rid of those pesky recommended videos on YouTube; It’s time to clean up your YouTube page. With all of the suggested videos appearing in your feed, it can be difficult to keep track of the videos you actually want to watch, and you might miss out on some great content just because it doesn’t have flashy thumbnails or endearing titles.

So, how do you get rid of those pesky recommended videos on YouTube? Here are three simple ways that will help you get the recommended videos out of your way so you can enjoy watching what you want to watch.

READ ALSO How to free up space on your computer by deleting temporary internet files

Recommended video placement

YouTube’s recommended video placement is terrible. I don’t mind the company suggesting other videos I might be interested in, but the problem comes when it surfaces a video that has nothing to do with my interests or viewing history. It can even happen when you’re halfway through watching a video. One bad experience will sour me against that channel, and it’s the same for many people.

How it works

To remove videos from recommended lists, log into your account, hover over the channel, and click ‘suggested.’ You’ll see a list of all of the channels you’re subscribed to, as well as recommendations that may be related.

From there, toggle includes in recommendations for any channel you don’t want to see promoted. Keep scrolling until you find the channel you want to unsubscribe from and click unsubscribe.

There’s also an option at the bottom of this page where you can report content or set up filters, which is a good idea if you have younger kids who watch YouTube with you. On each video, look for the three dots next to the title to access more options and settings.

Click it, then select Hide this video. The video will disappear from both your home feed and recommendations in general.

Why does it exist

We all love the convenience of apps like Youtube and Netflix, which always find something new for us to watch. But sometimes we don’t have time for another video or have just watched a trailer, but it still pops up at the end. Thankfully, with just a few clicks and drags in the right directions you can delete these silly recommendations from your life! To start off you need to first open the app from your Home screen and then go to My Subscriptions.

Follow These Steps to Get Rid of Them for Good

1. Click the three dots located in the top right corner of any video page on YouTube.
2. Choose Settings from the list.

3. Scroll down and click Turn off recommended videos.
4. If you want to re-enable them, follow the same steps again and click turn back on recommended videos.

That’s it! You can also turn off suggested videos by going to the gear icon in the bottom left corner of your screen and selecting Preferences > General. Scroll down until you see Suggested Videos, uncheck the box next to it, then hit Save Changes.

Wrap Up

Sometimes the video that is in front of you is not always what you are looking for. Maybe it’s too scary, or too weird. Sometimes it feels like there is a never-ending line up of recommended videos in front of you and sometimes we need to hit that little red x and make way for a better option.

How to free up space on your computer by deleting temporary internet files; If you’re like most computer users, you have limited storage space on your hard drive and many gigabytes of temporary internet files (see here) taking up valuable real estate.

So how do you remove these temporary internet files? The easiest way is to use a free software program called CCleaner. Here’s how to use it step by step to free up space on your computer.

READ ALSO How to free up space in Outlook 2010 by deleting old calendar items

Delete all temporary files in Firefox

If you are running out of space on your hard drive, deleting the temporary Internet files in Firefox may help you regain some much-needed room. This can be done in just a few steps:

Open Firefox – Click Tools and then Clear Recent History from the pulldown menu

Select the Time Range from which you want to delete Temporary Internet Files

Select the Cached Web Content option and hit Clear Now

If you want to keep any of these items, uncheck them from being deleted.

And that’s it! You have just deleted all of your cached data and can now breathe a sigh of relief when you look at that disk space bar filling back up with its empty state once again.

You can also manually delete individual pages or sites if you so choose, but this is typically not necessary for those who use their browser sparingly and mainly for research purposes.

Empty the recycle bin

The first step is usually easy. On a Windows PC, this requires opening the Recycle Bin or clicking in the right-hand corner of the screen and selecting it from the pop-up menu. In macOS, you need to navigate to Finder > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility and click on the box next to Applications and select Empty Trash.

If your browser has an option for emptying history, clear that cache as well before closing it. For Google Chrome, this will delete all cookies and remove saved login information so it’s not available if someone uses your browser without permission.

Click the Menu button (three vertical dots) at the top right of the page and then choose Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing Data. Firefox can be emptied using Preferences from its Tools menu, while Safari needs to be closed completely before clearing its cache.

Wrap Up

Today we learned how to delete temporary internet files on Firefox. This can be done through the built-in option in Mozilla Firefox or through a third party app such as CCleaner. It’s very important not only for freeing up disk space, but also for protecting your data and staying secure.

How to free up space in Outlook 2010 by deleting old calendar items; Outlook 2010 can easily start to consume your hard drive with its incessant calendar management, leaving you with very little space to work on other tasks or store other files.

Luckily, there are ways to free up space in Outlook 2010 by deleting old calendar items and other forms of Outlook data that aren’t serving you well any longer. Here’s how to delete old calendar items in Outlook 2010 step by step.

Why do I need to clean up my calendar?

It’s important to routinely clean out your inbox, and it’s a good idea to apply the same rules of organization to your Outlook calendar. Cleaning out your email not only helps you feel more organized but makes your email load less strenuous on servers and be easier for other people who may have access to view your work emails.

If there are any meetings or appointments that are no longer relevant or need to be rescheduled, removing them from your calendar will save some space and make life easier. In order to delete an appointment in outlook 2010, first select the appointment and then click on Delete Appointment from the ribbon menu. You can also use CTRL+DEL if you’re using a keyboard shortcut.

Manually clean your calendar (if you know where you put it)
Calendar is one of the most used components of Microsoft Office, so it is inevitable that there will be occasions when you need to delete old calendar events. You can manually clean your event, but it is time-consuming and a pain. There are a few easier ways that allow you to get rid of all the old calendar events in just seconds.

To delete an event from your Microsoft Office Outlook, click on your Calendar, and then select an event. Next, right-click on that event and click Delete. After you do this, you’ll notice that it has disappeared. One thing to note: It is not possible to undo a deletion.

If you realize after deleting an event that it was actually something important, don’t panic! You can always add back the deleted event using Restore Previous Versions feature. Select Other Tools > Restore Previous Versions and go through the wizard until you find the deleted item. Choose restore and voila! Your important information is back where it belongs.

Automatically clean your calendar

Outlook has a built-in feature that automatically deletes emails after 30 days, but it does not delete calendar items. If you delete emails from your inbox and the deleted messages reappear in your inbox after 30 days, we recommend disabling this option. To disable automatic cleanup of email, go to Tools > Options > Preferences > Advanced. Scroll down until you see Delete Items. Uncheck the box next to Remove Items from Deleted Items after XX Days. Click OK.

Summary of all the methods

One way you can free up storage space on your computer is by clearing out old or unused calendar items in Outlook. You can do this via these methods: · Select Calendar from the navigation pane and select Delete. Select the date range for which you want to delete, then click OK. To delete a single item, open it, then select Delete from the ribbon.

· Click on the down arrow at the bottom of the navigation pane and select Recycle Bin. Checkboxes will appear next to each item that can be deleted; check all that is unwanted, then click Delete Items.

How to Permanently Delete Email Addresses from Your Forwarding Settings; When you receive an email from someone with whom you want to communicate, you may want to forward the email to other individuals in your address book.

If you do so, you’ll want to delete the original email address before forwarding it. Otherwise, those recipients will have access to the complete email history between you and the sender of the first email. This guide on how to permanently delete email addresses from your forwarding settings will help ensure your privacy.

READ ALSO How to delete your blogger account

How Does This Work?

You can delete an email address by tapping on it and clicking the cross in the upper-right corner. That account will be removed, but it’ll still appear as a previous destination in your forwarding settings.

If you want to remove an account’s history from being viewed, you can also do so by selecting that previous destination. When you do this, the email address is deleted for good.

For an added layer of security, once you’ve completed these steps, select Send and ensure that Gmail is asking for a password. That way only someone with your Gmail password will be able to read messages sent through Gmail.

Even if your account is compromised by another person or agency, you’ll still have full control over your email address, as well as the information you send out.

You may not need to go through all of these steps every time you sign into Gmail – it all depends on what type of backup system your organization has in place. We recommend deleting any old emails before getting started, just to make sure there aren’t any duplicates left lingering around!

Getting Started

The easiest way to ensure that you’re never double-sharing your contacts’ emails is by deleting them. Here’s how:
1) Open your Gmail account and go to Settings on the top right corner of the screen.
2) Under Labs, check the box for Delete (rather than forward) email I reply to.
3) Click the Save Changes button. This will delete a copy of the forwarded email from your account rather than sending it again.
4) Repeat these steps for each address you’d like to delete. To do so, go back and check your other email accounts.
5) Click on Settings, then go to Labs. Under Delete (rather than forward) email I reply to, click Save Changes. Continue repeating these steps until you’ve removed all of your duplicated emails. After doing so, you can delete an account if you’d like in order to completely cut it off from your system.

Wrap Up

When you set up your email forwarding settings, make sure you check permanently delete messages from my address. This way, you won’t accidentally share an email that you meant for just a few people. For example, if you’re giving out the family’s new address or have a message about meeting time and place for the book club, you can safely forward this email without having it show up in someone else’s inbox. You also don’t have to worry about any spammy emails coming into your inbox because these will be deleted before they ever reach it.

Reasons To Delete Your Blog

There are various reasons why one may want to get rid of their blog. Some bloggers find they have no time to keep up with the demands of maintaining a blog, so they take it down in order to free up their time. Others might find that their niche is no longer as profitable and decide there’s no reason for them to continue operating a blog site.

Deactivating Your Account

To deactivate your account, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Settings page by clicking on the cog icon in the top-right corner of the Dashboard menu. This is also where you’ll find Account Settings, which allows you to change any of your billing or other information.
2. Under Account settings, look for a tab called Deactivate my blog and click on it.
3. You’ll be prompted to enter your password and then click Deactivate My Account at the bottom of the screen.
4. The next screen will give you one last chance to reconsider, just in case you have any regrets about permanently deleting all your posts
5. If you’re certain that you don’t want to reactivate it, click Deactivate Account and follow through with the prompts until you see a message confirming that it has been successfully deactivated.

Deleting Your Account

In the Settings tab of your blog’s dashboard, you can find a Delete blog button. To complete the deletion process, click on this button and then click Delete my blog. WordPress will ask for confirmation of the deletion by displaying an email with a confirmation link.

Clicking on this link will take you back to your blogging dashboard where you’ll be able to confirm that yes, you want to delete your blog. Once confirmed, WordPress will contact Google Search Console (formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools) to report that your site has been deleted.

Wrap Up

Click on the three bars in the top left hand corner and hover over Settings. Select Your Account from the drop-down menu. A new window will pop up, with a tab labeled Account. Scroll down until you see a heading for Delete my account and click on it. You will be asked if you are sure before it deletes all of your posts, friends and followers (provided you are an admin).

How to Get Rid of Annoying Blank Pages in Word 2007; When working on an essay or other lengthy document in Microsoft Word 2007, it’s often useful to add blank pages in between sections to make it easier to find the spot you’re looking for when you need to go back and review something. But what do you do if those blank pages are still visible after you’ve printed your work? If that’s the case, here’s how to get rid of them in Word 2007.

READ ALSO How to delete your blogger blog in under five minutes

Open up the Page Layout

Right-click on the bottom-left corner of a blank page and select Orientation from the popup menu. Make sure that you’re choosing either portrait or landscape, depending on which way your document is oriented. Alternatively, choose Hidden if you want the blank page gone but still in case you need it later.

Click on Page Setup

So, you have been writing your document and realized that there are blank pages coming up on the right. You don’t know how this happened or what to do about it. Don’t worry, it’s easy to fix. In the Page Setup window, go to Margins and hit Custom Margins from the top menu.

This will pop up a menu where you can input custom values for margin spacing before and after your margins. If you scroll down to the bottom of the list, there is an option called Blank. Here you can input 0pts as both the space before and after your margins. Click OK when done to close out of this window. Now when you save your document, those pesky blank pages should be gone!

In Page Setup, go to Blank Page

Select the preset header, footer, or custom header and footer you want from the Type menu. If you choose Blank Page, a blank page will be added as the first page after your title page. Alternatively, go to the Insert tab on the Ribbon and select Header and Foot (at left) or Blank Page. A new page is created at the top of your document where you can insert text or images.

Turn off Repeat as needed

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to delete blank pages from your document, the answer is to use the Format section on the Page Layout tab. Find the box labeled Repeat. Click on it until it shows None, and then click on the box once more so that it resets back to Repeat as needed. With that little change, your blank pages will go away!

Wrap Up

Not only do these blank pages make the document more difficult to read, but they can also cause formatting problems with your content. There are a few different ways you can get rid of them. You can press Ctrl+Shift+E and delete the text, or you can highlight a paragraph and press Ctrl+X. Whichever way you choose, just make sure you’re deleting them all at once so that it doesn’t come back later when you go to print.

How to delete your blogger blog in under five minutes; Have you ever wanted to delete your blogger blog? Maybe it’s no longer relevant or you just want to remove all traces of the information contained within it? Whatever the reason, you can do so in less than five minutes with this quick guide on how to delete your blogger blog.

READ ALSO How to Delete Your Unused Terraria Servers

Step 1: Decide whether to keep the content

If you have good content that is related to the purpose of your blog and want to keep it, consider using a service like Unsettle that keeps you active on social media without having to maintain an active web presence. This way you can use Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat from a single mobile app.
If the content is outdated or if you’ve been blogging on other platforms more regularly, then decide what will work best for you and just remove it!

Step 2: Delete images from outside sources

Google’s image search often shows pictures that have been copied, used without permission, or are the intellectual property of someone else.

You can prevent this by finding the link to each image and deleting it. To do so, right-click on the image you want to remove, and then click open image in the new tab. The file will open in a new tab where you’ll see a set of blue tabs. Select More, then Delete. Repeat this process for every photo on your site.

Step 3: Delete archived posts

Click on posts and choose the post you want to delete. Click the checkbox next to the post you want, then select delete posts. This will also remove any archived posts associated with this blog. The post will no longer show up in your blog feed or search results.

Once you’ve finished deleting the posts you wanted to get rid of, click the Delete Posts button at the bottom of the page. You’ll be prompted for confirmation before proceeding with deletion so make sure it’s what you want!

Step 4: Move remaining content into a different blog on a new platform

So what do you do if you still want to publish new content but don’t want all of the old content and previous interactions of yours on that site available? If your current platform provides another option, such as starting a new website, consider moving the remaining content into a different blog on a new platform. That way, you can keep the content related specifically to what you’re currently doing without having any connections from the past.

Step 5. Get rid of redirects (optional)

Sometimes you might want to do a full domain redirect where you swap out the old domain for the new one. If that’s the case, then you’ll need to set up a redirection by adding code to your new site’s root. This is typically done with a code snippet that goes at the top of each of those pages on the site.

Wrap Up

Blogger is an online blogging platform that is owned by Google. It offers plenty of tools and resources that will make blogging a breeze, with helpful content creators and a simple web-based interface. When you are done blogging, you can shut down the site quickly and efficiently. You do not have to wait until the month or year expires, take the few steps listed below and get rid of it right away!

How to Delete Your Unused Terraria Servers; If you’re like me, you’ve been playing Terraria since 2011 and have dozens of unused servers in your world (in this case, server refers to an individual world you’ve created). If so, you can free up some hard drive space by removing them. Read on to learn how.

READ ALSO How to Delete Playlists on iPod Nano in Three Simple Steps

Know what you are deleting

To delete your unused Terraria servers, you can go into the hosting application and shut them down or you can go on each individual server and delete them one by one. Please note that once a server is deleted, it cannot be reactivated again without being recreated.

If you want to keep your saved games and items, we suggest you play on them before deleting them. Also, be sure that it is actually an unused server before you delete it.

Sometimes these things can get mixed up in all of your game files and accidentally deleted so do double-check before doing anything.

To delete a server in Terraria hosting software, go into Hosting > Manage Servers > Server List. From there, select the server you want to delete and then click Shut Down. From there, you will be prompted with a message asking if you are sure you want to shut down this server.

Click OK and then enter your password when prompted. Once the shutdown process has been completed, the shutdown message will appear at the top of the window indicating that it was successful. Repeat this process for any other servers that are no longer needed until they are all gone.

Have the right tools and knowledge

You can delete your unneeded servers by pressing Ctrl+A and then using the ‘delete selected’ option in the top right-hand corner. But before you do, make sure you have backup copies of your world files and don’t forget to delete all active ServerRadios from your character’s equipment inventory first. Alternatively, you can delete your servers by deleting them from the control panel on the terraria website but this doesn’t allow for backups of worlds, so it is not recommended.

You now know how to delete your old or unused Terraria servers. To recap, you need to first create a new World Name, find your .conf file for the server you want to delete and delete everything that starts with localport followed by =5000. If you have any questions about this process please leave them in the comments below.

About Fantasy Team

Being a part of a Fantasy Team is way more fun when you win, but it doesn’t matter if you’re always the one on the bottom of the barrel. Whether it’s because someone drafted a better team or you are using statistics incorrectly, here are four ways to get that winning feeling again.

1) Assess your Draft Strategy- Review the best players you picked and see how many points they scored. Compare this to the best players from other teams and adjust accordingly for next time.

2) Evaluate Players by Positions- When checking player stats make sure you look at how many points they scored as well as how much playing time they had for each position.

3) Take Note of Potential Trades- Review players who are on other teams you beat and see if they have any weaknesses that you can take advantage of. If so, offer a trade with a player on your team who will likely do better.

4) Make Adjustments as Necessary- The above strategies are only for if you made bad picks or didn’t get enough playing time. If you have a solid team but still aren’t winning, be open minded about any other changes you might want to make. Just because it worked for someone else doesn’t mean it will work for you too.
