How to Delete Playlists on iPod Nano in Three Simple Steps; If you’re like most iPod Nano users, you probably have more than one playlist in the device, and you may want to delete one or two to make room for new ones.

However, because of its small screen, it can be difficult to delete playlists on iPod Nano without accidentally deleting others by mistake. If you follow these three simple steps, however, you can quickly and safely remove any playlist from your Nano and free up some much-needed space.

About Connecting your iPod to iTunes

Connect your iPod with a Lightning or USB cable to your computer, and make sure iTunes opens. From there, open the settings panel by clicking on the icon of the gears. When you are in the settings panel, select Manage music and videos.

Click Include videos if you want videos synced too. Now click On this computer which will show all of your playlists from iTunes and your iPod nano. If you only have one playlist on your iPod nano then you can go ahead and delete it right now.

If not, find the playlist that is going to be deleted. You might need to go through several pages to find it if you have a lot of playlists saved on your iPod nano so just keep scrolling until you find it. Then click edit at the top of the screen and then press the delete playlist button at the bottom.

  • Connect your iPod to iTunes
  • Edit your playlist
  • Click Delete
  • Confirm with OK

You may have a hard time deleting your playlists if you don’t know how. These three steps will help you get rid of them once and for all. The first step is to sync your device with iTunes or iPhoto. The second step is go into the Settings app and click General, then scroll down to Usage, then click the Last 30 Days tab. The third step is select Music from the list that pops up, then scroll down until you find the playlist that you want to delete, select it by clicking it once, then click the Delete button at the bottom of the screen.
