Connect your iPod with a Lightning or USB cable to your computer, and make sure iTunes opens. From there, open the settings panel by clicking on the icon of the gears. When you are in the settings panel, select Manage music and videos.
Click Include videos if you want videos synced too. Now click On this computer which will show all of your playlists from iTunes and your iPod nano. If you only have one playlist on your iPod nano then you can go ahead and delete it right now.
If not, find the playlist that is going to be deleted. You might need to go through several pages to find it if you have a lot of playlists saved on your iPod nano so just keep scrolling until you find it. Then click edit at the top of the screen and then press the delete playlist button at the bottom.
