How to quickly and easily delete your shopping list on Amazon

How to quickly and easily delete your shopping list on Amazon; Have you ever created an Amazon shopping list only to realize you don’t need the products on it anymore? If so, you’re not alone.

Amazon’s shopping list feature does an amazing job of letting you create and edit lists for future reference, but sometimes you’ll want to delete the old lists in order to make room for the new ones. Follow these quick and easy steps to get rid of that outdated list and free up some space on your desktop.

Step 1: Open the web app

Assuming you’re using the web app, open Amazon in your browser and sign in. On the top right corner of the screen, hover over Accounts & Lists and click Your Lists. Find the list you want to delete under the Shopping Lists heading and click the three dots next to it.

Click Delete List from the drop-down menu. Confirm by clicking Delete List again on the pop-up window. And that’s it, your shopping list has been deleted. To avoid having to go through this process again, make sure you clear all the items off your cart before proceeding with checkout.

Step 2: Click Your Lists in the upper right corner

From the home page, go to Your Lists in the upper right corner. You may have to hover over it to see the options. If you have multiple lists, select the one you want to delete. Select View List from the left-hand side of the screen.

On the next screen, scroll down to view all items in your list. Select each item you want to delete by clicking on it once with your mouse or touchpad (touch screens will not work).

Click Delete Item(s) at the bottom of this screen to confirm the deletion of each item. When finished deleting items, click Done Deleting Items at bottom of the screen. A confirmation box will appear stating that you deleted all selected items.

Click OK to close the box and return to Your Lists page. Repeat these steps for any other lists you want to delete. Then click Close button in the upper right corner to exit back to the Home Page. Once you are at the Home Page, select Shopping List again and then Clear Shopping List under Actions near the top of the page. Your shopping list is now gone!

Step 3: Click Manage List

Assuming you’ve already clicked the three lines in the top left corner of the Amazon home page to open the menu (if not, do that now), hover your mouse over Your Lists and then click Manage List.
From there, you should see all of the lists that you’ve created.

If you have a lot of lists, you can use the search bar at the top to find the one you want to delete. Once you find it, just scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Delete this list. You’ll be prompted for confirmation before it’s gone for good.

Conclusion

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a way to get rid of an embarrassing Amazon cart that you don’t want others to see, then this is the solution. All you have to do is click on View Cart in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. There will be a list of all the items that are in your cart and below that will be a button labeled Delete Shopping List. Simply press this button and everything will be gone!
