How to delete your watching history on Direct TV
When you’re watching your favorite movie on Direct TV, it’s unlikely that you want to share this information with the rest of the world.
That’s why Direct TV has created a feature where you can delete what you’ve watched in the past. If your internet goes down and you don’t have access to your viewing history, or if you simply forgot to check out what you’ve watched, there are ways to find out without having to watch all your shows again.

Open the DVR Home Page
The first step is to open the DVR Home Page. You can do this by pressing the Menu button on your remote control, and then selecting DVR.
Once you’re in the DVR menu, you’ll want to select History in order to access your viewing history. From there, you will be able to see a list of all of the programs that you have watched in order of when they were watched.
Click on any program in order to see more information about it (i.e., when it was aired) and then click Delete All if it’s something that you don’t want saved anymore.

Delete all recorded shows
Deleting all recorded shows on your Direct TV receiver is a simple process. First, open the main menu by pressing the Menu button on your remote control.
Next, select the Settings option. Then, choose the Parental Controls option. Once you are in the Parental Controls menu, select the Delete Recordings option.
Finally, press the Select button to confirm that you want to delete all of your recorded shows.

A warning message will appear asking if you’re sure that you want to delete the show. Select Yes and the show will be removed from your viewing history.
