How to delete your watching history on Direct TV
When you’re watching your favorite movie on Direct TV, it’s unlikely that you want to share this information with the rest of the world.
That’s why Direct TV has created a feature where you can delete what you’ve watched in the past. If your internet goes down and you don’t have access to your viewing history, or if you simply forgot to check out what you’ve watched, there are ways to find out without having to watch all your shows again.
Open the DVR Home Page
The first step is to open the DVR Home Page. You can do this by pressing the Menu button on your remote control, and then selecting DVR.
Once you’re in the DVR menu, you’ll want to select History in order to access your viewing history. From there, you will be able to see a list of all of the programs that you have watched in order of when they were watched.
Click on any program in order to see more information about it (i.e., when it was aired) and then click Delete All if it’s something that you don’t want saved anymore.
Click History in top right corner
Click the Settings icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Click Privacy Settings.
Click Viewing History.
Click the checkbox next to each title you want to remove from your viewing history, then click Remove from History.
Choose infinity Stream from menu options
If you’re like me, you love streaming content from your favorite shows and movies. But sometimes, you just want to start fresh.
Maybe you’re bringing a new show and don’t want anyone to know, or maybe you want to keep your watching habits more private.
